The Weissensee region to the south-west of Carinthia offers ice-skating, cross-country skiing and Alpine skiing and is one of its kind in Europe. The beautiful environment is perfect for a leisurely winter walk. It makes you calm and relaxed and helps you regain your energies.
The crisp and clean air virtually forces you to spend some time cross-country skiing, ice skating, speed skating, curling, Alpine skiing, Nordic winter walking, sleigh riding, ... What else could you possibly dream of? And, of course, you can always rely on the excellent service provided by the Kolbitsch hotel.
On the other hand, there is the charming Kolbitsch hotel nestled right on the lakeshores.... with a large wellness area and a lot more.
At our hotel there is a major focus on natural and healthy food and Austrian specialties. We use virgin oils, non-refined rock salt and fresh (or dried) herbs from the garden whenever possible.
