The Stubaital has five main towns: Neustift, Fulpmes, Telfes, Mieders und Schönberg.
With Austria’s largest glacier ski area, the Stubai Glacier, scenic Stubaital offers skiing from late September through June (snow conditions permitting). The valley boasts a total of 110 kilometers of ski slopes for all experience levels and great terrain that ranges from extreme to mellow.
Summer in the Stubaital offers a great combination of outdoor activities and relaxation. Active guests will find plenty of opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, Nordic Walking, tennis, swimming and many other activities. With over 850 kilometers of hiking trails in the majestic Stubai Alps, the valley is a hikers’ paradise. Educational trails such as the GourmetTrail, the WhiteWaterTrail, the GlacierTrail and the Stubai High Elevation Trail add to the nature experience in Stubaital.
