The ultimate ski area – or: skiing in the cradle of Alpine winter sports!

Lech, Zürs, Stuben, St. Christoph, St. Anton. These names are music in the ears of winter sports lovers. More than 100 years ago Alpine skiing set out from the Arlberg area to conquer the Alps. Hannes Schneider, a skiing instructor, invented the “Arlberg technique” which became world-famous. And the world cam to St. Anton – no other Austrian ski resort is more international.

85 cable railways and lifts give access to a fantastic arena offering all opportunities: 276km of prepared slopes and 180km of deep-snow downhills, relaxed family runs for beginners, varied funparks for snowboarders and new school skiers, a Cyber Area for carvers, demanding steep slopes and high-alpine tours for the sporty and for pros.
The area of the Arlberg ski area covers 50km² and ranges from St. Anton (1,300m) to Vallugagipfel summit (2,811m)!

The Arlberg ski area ranks amongst the top European ski areas and has been awarded many prizes.

Thanks to the natural snow conditions and state-of-the-art snow making facilities snow is guaranteed from late November to May. A team of experts works 24 hours a day to provide for top conditions. Be enchanted by the Arlberg ski region with the villages of St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs and Lech!
