This year, two new 6-seater chairlifts - Hohe Wacht and Elsenkopf - were constructed. This was the first step to connect the Damüls and Mellau ski areas. With this extension, the Damüls ski area will feature 64 km of slopes (26 km blue = easy, 30 km red = intermediate, 8 km black = demanding). Now, our guests can indulge in stunning north-facing slopes where is snow guaranteed until early spring until the early afternoon hours.
Damüls at the Furkajoch mountain is the highest ski area between the Bregenzerwald and the Großes Walsertal valley. Damüls, the village with the highest amount of snow in the world, has become a popular ski resort for both families and skiing and snowboard enthusiasts of every age. Cross-country lovers can indulge their passion on the 16 km of sunny alpine cross-country trails!
The Uga toboggan run is also a great attraction for our winter guests. This 3.5 km natural toboggan run is easily accessible on the chairlift. Twice a week, moonlight tobogganing with floodlight is possible. Moreover, Damüls features 22.5 km of perfectly groomed winter hiking paths.
