The Loser region is situated on a sunny plateau and offers something for everyone: family-friendly pistes, FIS courses and a fun park for snowboarders - everything 1000 m above sea level.
Above the tree line there is powder snow in sheer abundance - a dream for freeriders. The area also offers perfect conditions off the pistes for ski mountaineerers, snowshoe hikers and ski trekkers.
The Ausseerland region is known for its large amounts of rain- or snowfall. Due to a perfect geographic location winter fans enjoy immaculate ski runs from December until Easter. And in the last resort there are also snow-making facilities provided.
Say farewell to stress: thanks to modern lifts and broad ski runs, crowded pistes belong to the past. However you can also relax on the beautiful sun terrace of the Loser Alm or at the bar in the valley after a long day of skiing.
