Sölden’s highest ski area offers a total of 34 lifts and 150 kilometers of groomers. The Ötztal Arena boasts three three-thousand meter high mountains, the "Big Three".
Thanks to its location snow is a given in Sölden. Year-round skiing is offered on both Tiefenbach glacier and Rettenbach glacier. For years the Alpine Skiing World Cup opening races have been taking place in Sölden.
