The unique Leopold Museum at Vienna´s MuseumsQuartier hosts the privately owned Collection of Rudolf Leopold.
In the five exhibition levels masterpieces of Austrian painters from the 19th and 20th century are on display. Among the highlights rank paintings dating back to 1900: Gustav Klimt, Richard Gerstl, Koloman Moser, Oskar Kokoschka, the renowned Egon Schiele Collection, plus other world famous artists.

The 24 meter high cube is decorated white muschekalk (a type of limestone) and made of various precious materials such as oak parquet and patinated brass elements.
