Excellent ski runs - sunshine in abundance!

Gerlitzen ski area

skip Gerlitzen offers 60 km of vast and well-groomed slopes for skiers, snowboarders and carvers. Ski lessons for adults and children, for beginners and advanced skiers on a daily or weekly basis. Toddlers are welcome at the Schneebärenland Kiddy Land with three Magic Carpets, tea room and mascot Bino, the snow bear.

Off-piste activities include winter walking (cleared trails and footpaths), sociable hours at quaint lodges, cross-country skiing on 8 km of fabulous tracks high up in the mountains. Sonnenhotel Zaubek is located on the southern slopes of Gerlitzen, with two direct access ski trails to and from the ski area. Winter walking trails depart from the front door.

Have all of Carinthia at your feet and enjoy the stunning views and vistas. All rooms are south-facing. There is nothing to beat a few moments of relaxation at the in-house wellness department with sauna bath (view of the valley!), herbal steam grotto, infrared cabin and tanning beds. In addition, we offer massages and energizing treatments.

Meals include buffet breakfast with a selection of health food; snack bar in the afternoon; themed buffet dinners and choice of set dinners

Children are well looked after at the Mini Midi Club (child care service): games, play room, creativity program and special children's meals.

Dogs are very welcome and stay for free.
