The town of Ferndorf covers a large area from Drautal Valley to the south-eastern shores of Lake Millstätter See. Its most famous landmark is probably Mirnock, a 2,104 m high mountain located in the immediate vicinity of Ferndorf and an ideal destination for long walks and hikes.
