Iselsberg-Stronach is a holiday village inhabited by 501 people and located on the sunny side of the Lienz valley with marvelous view of the Lienzer Dolomiten mountains. The village bordering on the Hohe Tauern national park offers beautiful footpaths through woods and meadows, from pasture to pasture and is starting point for demanding hiking tours. Iselsberg is situated at the beginning of the Großglockner High Alpine Road and due to its central location very much appreciated for excursions to the side-valleys of East Tirol, to the lakes of Carinthia and to South Tirol.

In winter our village provides a little training T-bar lift, a sunny cross-country skiing track, a natural toboggan track, many well-marked winter hiking paths and a free ski shuttle service to the Lienzer mountain railways.

In summer our guests enjoy beautiful hiking paths particularly on the shady play ground in the woods, concerts of our band in traditional costume, relaxed evenings and interesting slide shows on the subject of the Hohe Tauern national park.
