Traditional
The region of the Semmering-Rax-Schneeberg mountains is one of the oldest destinations for tourism in Austria. A traditional target for the Viennese during the hot summer months as well as an inspiring retreat for artists, the region has made itself a name across the country. Today still, the regional architecture is marked by this period.
But also during the winter time, the villages around the Semmering-Rax-Schneeberg mountains are an ideal target for young people and families, leaving no wishes unfulfilled.

Alpine
The three "home mountains of the Viennese", with their 2.000m in altitude, offer a first glance of the alpine landscape for people coming from the East. Countless ski tours, mountain top experiences, snow boot hiking tours and ski slopes invite you to a "mountainous" adventure - during the winter time.

Cultivated
Culture is also a buzzword in the Semmering-Rax-Schneeberg region during winter. Away from the slopes, various exhibitions, festivals and events continue to take place during the cold season. Culinary regional delights, like the famous "Jagatee" or scrambled eggs bread, leave no wishes unfulfilled either.
