A warm welcome to Wallsee-Sindelburg

Wallsee-Sindelburg is a recreational village, embedded in the romantic, densely wooded Danube landscape in the northern Mostviertel, offering you various possibilities to relax, practise sports and enjoy entertainment.

The proximity to the river Danube, the numerous, flower-decorated houses and the mighty castle of the Habsburger (inhabitated by a great-grand-child of the emperor Franz Josef today) render this picturesque, charming character to our village.

In the most beautiful natural arena of Lower Austria, the beach and water sport centre Wallsee can be found. Here, the following water sports can be practised: water skiing, wakeboard, bare foot water skiing, sailing & surfing. Furthermore, you can find 3 beach volleyball courts, a centercourt with floodlight, where tournaments take place each year, as well as a fun corner with action disc, space-curl-aerotrim, trampoline, a climbing wall and an adjacent skater park.

The headquarter of the "Brandner Schiffahrt" navigation company is in Wallsee, too - enjoy the landscape on board of the majestic MS Austria or the sister ship, the MS Austria Princess.

Our well tended, family friendly inns with plain cuisine, venison and fish specialities will certainly pamper you with delicacies.

The community Wallsee - Sindelburg is looking forward to your visit!
